Hydro brings Norwegian group a-ha to Pará in October

Success since the 80s, the Norwegian band a-ha comes to Pará for the first time next October at the invitation of Hydro, global aluminum company that has been in significant part of their business. Musicians visiting the municipalities of Barcarena and Paragominas, which will make exclusive shows for the employees of Hydro. The events celebrate the 110 years of the company's performance, the 30th anniversary of Albras and 20 Hydro Alunorte, which along with Hydro Paragominas is one of the greatest examples of vertical integration of the state.

The band comes to Pará taking advantage of the trip to Brazil, where he will touring schedule that begins with participation in the Rock in Rio on 27 September. In Pará, the musicians perform the 1st of October Barcarena and 3rd in Paragominas, the two events closed to the public.
As part of the actions of partnership with a-ha, Hydro launched the Apple Store a remix of the most successful band, "Take on me", produced by DJ Kygo. The Norwegian 24 year-old is featured on the international music scene. With 110 years of experience, the company develops innovative technologies through aluminum, infinitely recyclable and reusable metal, the metal of the future. This positioning of the company and identification with the band justify the choice of musicians for concerts in the state: a-ha was renewed over 30-year career and is known to be engaged with important issues such as reforestation, recycling and citizenship.
One of the company's brands is the environmental commitment. Global Hydro has the ambitious goal of becoming carbon-neutral by 2020. And the Pará plays a major role in achieving this result.
Extremely engaged in social and environmental causes, the Norwegian band will participate in two environmental-oriented projects in the municipalities where are the Hydro facilities. In Barcarena, keyboardist Magne Furuholmen will do a workshop of reusing recyclable materials with a project group of children Bola pra Frente, Education for People, developed by Hydro Alunorte, in partnership with the city of Barcarena.

Besides being a musician, Magne has a career as an artist and is dedicated to painting and sculpture, among other styles. With shows performed mainly in Norway and throughout Europe, the artist will bring to Brazil one of its projects, which will be presented on September 28 at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) of Niterói, Rio de Janeiro.
In Paragominas, Morten Harket the singer will do the planting of seedlings in reforestation area in Hydro Paragominas bauxite mine, which has the goal of balancing 1 hectare area reforested each hectare of mining area by the year 2017. The musician will have the collaboration of children's social Caseca project, an initiative developed by Hydro in the city which aids learning over a thousand children and adolescents through the use of technology.

Competition will award photos on Instagram

Although the shows are unique in Pará, fans of the band will have the opportunity to compete for tickets to attend the first presentation of the group in the state, on 1 October in Barcarena. Will be awarded 30 people with escort through the cultural contest "Renew your passion for the future", held by Hydro in the social network Instagram. Participation in the competition is open to anyone who is 16 or older, live in the state of Pará and has a valid profile on Instagram.

Compete to draw all posts made to the 17h of September 20 (local time), provided that compliance with the requirements of the Regulation. Winners will be announced on September 27 at the Hydro profile on Instagram.

Hydro and Para - Forever
