Over the years the World Korfball totally changed their rules, which contributed to further impoverish the game. The whole philosophy adopted by Nico Broekhuysen by inventing the game in 1902, was literally thrown in the garbage. This is because the modality want anyway participate in the Olympic Games, want to turn increasingly competitive sport, and therefore draw more media attention.
